The Best Pizza in Ridgewood 2009: A Mano
The Ridgewood blog is proud to announce the winner of the 2009 best Pizza in Ridgewood Contest ; Coming in first place with with 37% of the vote A Mano followed by long time local favorite Renato's with 16% of the vote and Puzzo's the 2008 winner finished 3rd with 14% of the vote .Three tied for 4th La Bella Pizza ,Brooklyn Pizza, and Sicilian Sun all with 7% of the vote.

My favorite was not listed, Turvino's Pizzeria. Yes they are located in Glen Rock but they deliver to Ridgewood!
The numbers for A Mano were a little high. I realize this isn't a scientific survey, but I think there was a little ballot box manipulation. A Mano does make a great pizza (for one), it's not really the same as going to pick up a pie. So I'd say Renato's is the winner here, they make real pies! (I didn't vote for them...prefer Puzo's and Sicilian Sun)
I'm still ong to La Bella just for Kenny's warm greeting and for the fact that he appreciates my business (but I am going to try A Mano just to see!)
How many actual votes were there? Just curious if enough people even voted to make this meaningful.
